Liberate Africa Liberate All...Mineral Leverage

SOLID MINERAL LEVERAGE CALL - WE OBEY

The extractive industry In Africa in recent days has been a subject of interest to Africans and the entire world. At a point, it will look like light has come and on second thought, we can see the decadent state of mineral extraction in Africa.

Time will not permit me to start writing on how Africans themselves have been the reason for the continual exploitation of her minerals by allowing the Westerners and the so-called advanced world to mine without giving credit or considering the place of extraction. Indeed, Mother Earth has been so kind to Africa, but good leadership quality is missing to harness resources for use. To start with, greed, unrest, conflict, diseases, and social vices are on the rise in this blessed continent. I won't be wrong if I say that the chaos in this rich continent all centered on the greed and corruption of leaders expected to liberate the region. What we thought would be a blessing is gradually becoming a course. The cancer of corruption is spreading. What the colonial masters left was a pattern of ridership by forceful - I guess to their advantage. We were though how to make people obey by force, how to make others suffer while they see themselves as winning alone. Today, our leaders do the same. They are filled with forceful ruling, greedy, self-centered, and enslaved others mentality. When will we come out of this?

Africa wake up. Civilization should liberate us and not divide us. It's true civilization comes from the so-called social world or the Westerners as the case may be, and the good thing is, it's available to all of us. The whole world is now interconnected. This is telling us we should not be limited anymore. This is telling us we should be liberated from the divide and rule dictated by people who took us slaves. The recent times have shown us that we could be free if we know what they know, we can be like them.

Africa wake up. Leaders stop slumbering. The time for call-to-action is now. Let's leverage what we have to get what we don’t have. Let's look within and not look abroad.

Uranium, Gold, Lithium, and Coal are some of the major minerals driving the industry now. We can leverage this and improve the standard of our people. We can use this to transfer technology for the benefit of all. We can use this to improve the health sector, education, youth development, and improve well-being. We can use this to fix roads, solve employment problems, and alleviate poverty that has ravaged the land. We can use this to improve the environment, agriculture, and other industries.

Good policies on these minerals exploitation can make a difference. I want to see the African Union come together to build on policies that can make the continent great. Policies that will make us better from harnessing the minerals. Policies that will integrate youth development. Policies that will not make Africa look like a dumping ground, where vaccines can be used for experiments. Policies that will make us prove to the rest of the world that we are humans and not animals like we are portrayed.

I think we need to tell the younger ones how to think from within. Tell them they have tomorrow. Let them know they can live a life of purpose in Africa and not until they get to the so-called advanced country.

LET US LEVERAGE THESE SOLID MINERALS TO BUILD LIFE FOR BETTER TOMORROW
